Follow these steps to keep your tattoo vibrant and safe.

 Tattoo Aftercare

1. Immediately after your session

• The second skin we applied usually stays best for 12–24 hours.

• If there is not much fluid inside, you can leave it on for up to 3–4 days.

• After remove the second skin, gently wipe the tattoo area with a wet tissue.

• Let the area dry, then start aftercare immediately.

2. Applying ointment

• Always wash your hands before applying ointment.

• Apply every 3–4 hours to prevent dryness.

• Apply a very thin layer — too much can suffocate the skin.

Do not soap the tattoo area during this time.

• If the tattoo itches, do not scratch.

3. Lifestyle precautions

• Avoid alcohol for at least 1 week. Fermented drinks (beer, makgeolli, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

• Avoid extreme exercise, sauna, tight clothing, swimming pools, beaches, UV exposure, or heat for 6 weeks.

4. Long-term care

• Take care of your tattooed skin for 3–4 weeks, until it blends with surrounding skin.

• Some ink residue or dead skin may appear during healing — this is normal, don’t worry.

• Do not use any other ointment besides what was recommended.

5. Maintaining your tattoo after healing

• Apply sunscreen and a moisturizer to keep colors vibrant.

• Dryness and UV exposure can fade your tattoo quickly, so ongoing care is essential.
